Our story

Austin Home Stewards was founded by Michal Morrison, an Austin local and entrepreneur. With a long-term family history in Austin, from a great grandmother who worked at Lammes Candies to grandparents who attended Austin High and went on dates at Sandy’s, Michal was raised with a deep love for the Austin area and has resided here for 14 years since graduating from Texas A&M.

Michal started her first company in 2020 during the first months of Covid, and traveled frequently to LA and New York for her startup. Through it all, she juggled life as a founder while caring for two beloved pets and managing life with chronic illness. She knows the value of trusted partners to help make life move smoothly, and is excited to extend intentional and detail-oriented care to other high-performing professionals on their own busy journeys.
